Mrs Patterson-Copper
I'm Mrs Pattern-Cooper and I joined Barnby Dun Academy in September 2021.
I have been a teacher for 30 years and have been privileged to teach some wonderful children from the ages of 3-11 years. I love being a teacher at Barnby Dun as it is a very welcoming and aspirational school.
Here's a little bit of information about me to help you to get to know me: I am married and have a grown-up son, who has a little boy of his own. I'm so proud to be a grandma. At weekends, I often take my grandson to our local country park to feed the ducks! He is just learning to count and enjoys impressing me with new words that he is learning.
One of the passions in my life, is reading and I especially love illustrated children's books. I am very creative and enjoy arts and crafts. I am an amateur gardener and have recently been cultivating a wild garden, which is not as easy as it sounds.
